Adult’s Programs

Bingo Night

Join us to play Bingo the 1st Thursday of each month.

Bingo for Seniors: More than just a game!

  • It’s competitive. Everyone loves to win. It’s a game of chance, but players must pay attention and be active participants.
  • It’s accessible. No special skills are required to play, other than being able to read numbers and the numbers are displayed on a tv monitor.
  • It’s social. Players talk, laugh, and enjoy the companionship of fellow bingo players.
  • It’s fun! Different games are played at the Library, making it interesting and snacks are served!
  • It has prizes. The winners choose their prize and many of the prizes are donated by generous community businesses and individuals.
Book Club

The Adult Book Club meets at the Library on the fourth Thursday of each month to discuss a new book.

Why join the Book Club?

  • Gain new perspectives Discussing a book with people from different backgrounds and with varied life experiences challenges your own interpretations, deepens your understanding of the text, and helps you see the world from different viewpoints.
  • Sharpen your mind and skills Engaging in thoughtful discussion and analysis is an intellectual workout that helps develop critical thinking, communication, and even debating skills. It keeps your brain active and engaged.
  • Lifelong learning Book clubs offer an accessible, low-cost way to continue learning and challenging yourself intellectually even after formal education has ended.
