The Gunter Library & Museum opened its doors in 2003. In 2023, the Library ceased hosting the Museum and became known as the Gunter Library. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and rely on the generosity of Gunter residents whom we serve with joy. From 2003 until today we have operated with no paid employees and depended on volunteers who have generously given of their time and resources.

100% of donations are used to update library collections and technology, and purchase materials for events such as Story Time, Book Club, Summer Reading Program, Author Visits, Easter Party, and more.

More donations mean more programs the library can offer to our valued patrons.
